In the Studio – Wilhelm Lehmbruck
The finest graphic works acquired from his estate
29 September 2016 to 6 August 2017
The works of Wilhelm Lehmbruck, one of the major German sculptors of the early 20th century, are being rediscovered today. With its exhibition “In the Studio: Wilhelm Lehmbruck”, the Lehmbruck Museum is presenting a selection of the finest prints from the artist’s estate, acquired in 2010. Some of the drawings and prints will be displayed to the public for the first time. They open our eyes to a new, previously unknown side of Lehmbruck’s graphic oeuvre.
